Tigers Snag Renteria to Begin Offseason
For the second straight offseason, the Tigers got the offseason started with a bang, making the first big move in baseball. Last season it was acquriing Gary Sheffield from the Yankees. On Monday, the Tigers acquired shortstop Edgar Renteria from the Atlanta Braves for minor leagues Jair Jurrjens and Gorkys Hernandez.
